  Air Ambulance Marrow Competition Winners

  

  A huge "Marrow" thank you to everyone who entered the competition to guess the weight of the marrow.

  You raised £135.50 which is going to the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

  Thank you to everyone at Harby Show, Mars (Waltham) and the Belvoir Team Chase.

  Now the moment you've all been waiting for...... (drum roll!) the Marrow weighed 4.93kg (10.9lbs)

   

  All winners will receive a free veg box full of produce harvested directly from our fields and delivered straight to your home.

   

  Well done to the winners:-

  Growing Flowers

  Here we're starting to prepare a spare strip of land on the farm that's just too tough to grow produce....

  

  ....but with plenty of farm muck we're going to grow flowers.

  

  Parsnips and Pears have started selling flowers and plants.  As you already know lots of flowers come from overseas, so in keeping with our field to fork ethos we're starting to grow our own.  Our neighbour has already started growing flowers on her land so we'll soon be putting them online for you.
