Feb 04, 2013 Chunky bacon, swede & parsley broth Ingredients groundnut oil 1 onion , roughly chopped 100g thick-cut streaky bacon , chopped 500g swede , cut into chunks 250g floury potatoes , cut into chunks 900ml chicken stock ½ a small bunch parsley , chopped Method Heat a little oil in a pan then cook the onion and bacon until softened. Add the swede, potatoes and stock and simmer for 10-15 minutes until tender. Stir in the parsley and serve. Source: BBC Good Food
